a river of natural mineral water coming our from the mountain that is located at the farthers end of the cantingas river.Near the mouth of the river is a resort with lodging houses established by San Fernando local government. The cleanest ever river one can trust to drink while swimming.
Cantingas has so mythical stories. it is the home port of MV Sibuyan, a mythical ship shining with gold on its frame that in many instances sighted entering the small cantingas river. Many ships following MV Sibuyan on the evening course ended up sunk in the sibuyan reefs and shores with the capatin claiming they were travelling at the tail of a large, very bright MV sibuyan.

There are no signs of life" around the ferry that capsized off Sibuyan Island in Romblon on Saturday, the Philippine Navy said yesterday.
Navy spokesperson Lt. Col. Edgard Arevalo said that there was no response from the inside of the capsized ferry when the rescuers knocked on the exposed portion of the MV Princess of the Stars’ hull to check if people are trapped.
Arevalo said search and rescue operations resumed at 9 a.m. while Navy rescuers reached the site of ship at 11:45 yesterday morning.
"We approached the ship. We knocked on it in order to give us a sign if ever somebody is inside, to tell them that somebody is outside to help them. We were hoping someone would knock (from the inside)," Arevalo said.
"Unfortunately, there was none. There are no signs of life," he added.
The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said that the MV Princess of the Stars, the largest of the Sulpicio Lines fleet carrying a total of 724 passengers, 121 crew members, and four sea marshals, experienced engine failure that led to its capsizing on Saturday.
